The latest installment in the Commandos action strategy series. Can you complete all the missions?
Commandos 3: Destination Berlin is the fourth game in the popular real-time tactics franchise and the first to use a true 3D engine while bringing various other improvements to the overall gameplay.
A story about true war heroes
As in previous installments, Commandos 3: Destination Berlin follows the missions of a few fictional British Commandos through various historical events during World War II.
This time, there will be only six commandos under your command (the Green Beret, the Sniper, the Marine, the Sapper, the Spy, and the Thief), each with their own unique features and abilities that can shift the outcome of each mission in your favor if used at the right time.
Unlike Commandos 2 that featured a longer single campaign, Commandos 3: Destination Berlin introduces three smaller scenarios that will take you to various iconic locations in Central Europe, Normandy, and Stalingrad.
Tactical strategy taken to the extreme
While gameplay is pretty much the same as experienced in the previous Commandos titles, Destination Berlin comes with an even higher difficulty level that will test the patience and challenge even the most hardcore players.
Missions are quite varied during all three scenarios, but very well tied together, sometimes picking up from where you've previously left. I must say, this is no game for casual players and hardcore fans of the series will surely confirm it, as you can't just go guns blazing killing everyone on sight because in the next second you'll find yourself overwhelmed by enemies and with your entire team killed.

Learning patrol patterns while constantly checking the guard's line of sight might help you spot the perfect opportunity to take down an enemy soldier and hide his body before his comrades discovers you.
It's mostly all about trial and error, and often you'll find yourself restarting a mission after figuring out the perfect approach that could save your team from a lot of trouble.
A challenge hardcore gamers shouldn't miss
The Commandos series is back once more with an even greater challenge that hardcore players will surely enjoy playing. Although the game can become quite frustrating for casual players due to its high difficulty and lack of hotkeys, the feeling of accomplishment after completing a mission is exactly what you need to keep on going.
