Insydeflash Cannot Load The Driver. Please Close All Applications Must
I have had my pavilion dv6-2030sa bios currupt for no apparent reason, I am trying to make a recovery USB, when i download and execute the bios update utility, it extracts to c:swsetupexename and runs 'WinFlash.exe' after extracting the files from that, it runs the InsydeFlash.exe (or InsydeFlashx64.exe) and states 'cannot load the driver. Please close all applications' I am trying on. Jun 01, 2020 “InsydeFlash cannot load the driver. Please close all applications. If you run this utility in Windows 8, please run as Administrator” blocks my update. Ps: I can only access my laptop through safe mode. Anyway, I started installing drivers he downloaded from the HP's site. File names were like sp51122.exe so I didn't know which driver I'm installing until the setup actually ran. So after graphics and card reader drivers I came with that InsydeFlash thing, some kind of BIOS upgrade, which ran right away after I started the file. 'InsydeFlash can not load the drivers. Please close all applications. If you are running this utility in Vista, please run as administrator.' I have tried running the admin mode, try using the 'dos' mode (hitting f8 during launch) but the result is the same: not working.

Would someone please verify that the utility used to flash the BIOS on my new Acer laptop looks like it does in the attached image? Because flashing a BIOS is a pretty serious thing to do with a purchase that costs $500+, I was surprised to see a picture of a CRT monitor wearing a wizard hat using a pencil to erase something. Also the use of non standard fonts is disturbing.
more importantly, are all ACER bios releases unsigned?
The attached picture is of the Insyde InsydeFlash utility for a 4810T v1.28 BIOS.
